CONSTRUCTING YOUR KNIFE

The choices are almost unlimited when choosing components for your knife.

Almost every knife I make is out of stainless or carbon damascus steels.  The damascus steel makers I use are:  Devin Thomas, Mike Norris, Robert Eggerling, Johan Gustafsson, Chris Marks, and Chad Nichols.  I feel that steel from these makers is the highest quality, top performing, and most attractive.

I use Paul Bos for all my stainless steel heat treating, simply because he is the best.   Paul Long makes the majority of my sheaths.  I feel his leathercraft skills are the best around.

I always keep a broad selection of handle materials on hand.  I use mammoth ivory, mammoth tooth, elephant ivory, pearls(mop, goldlip, and blacklip), giraffe bone, sambar stag, and various types of wood.  I use micarta, G-10, and carbon fiber on my EDC, and tactical knives.

I take great pride in my work, and try to glorify God with the skills he gave me.  I don't take shortcuts, and strive to obtain a higher level of craftsmanship with every knife.  I stand behind my work and guarantee it for my lifetime.
